At Forest Pathways OT, I provide specialist occupational therapy services for children and young people with SEND/ALN, supporting participation, independence and preparation for adulthood across education, home and community settings.
My work is grounded in sensory processing, functional assessment and practical strategies that can be embedded into everyday routines by families, educators and support staff.
All services are tailored to the needs of the child or young person, family, education setting or organisation. Fees reflect assessment time, report writing and professional expertise.

Assessment using recognised tools, observation, written recommendations.
Fee: £400 – £750
Sensory environment audit:
Classroom or setting-based sensory audit with recommendations.
Fee: £180 – £300
Follow-up / coaching session:
Parent or staff support session.
Fee: £90 – £120 per hour
Suitable for EHCP (England) / IDP (Wales) assessment, review and provision planning.
I assess how vision is used functionally within everyday tasks, learning environments and routines.
This service may include:
· Functional vision assessment
· CVI-informed observation and analysis
· Assessment of how vision impacts learning, movement, self-care and regulation
· Environmental adaptations (lighting, contrast, layout, positioning)
· Visual support and access recommendations
· Clear, practical written guidance for staff and families

I assess posture and positioning within functional tasks to support comfort, attention, access to learning and physical wellbeing.
This service may include:
· Postural assessment within classroom, seating and activity contexts
· Education-focused postural support recommendations

· Liaison with education staff and MDT where appropriate
This service supports learners with physical, neurological or complex needs and aligns with 24-hour postural care principles within education settings.

· Practical strategies that can be embedded into classroom routines.

4 individual intervention sessions

I support learners who experience physical, cognitive or sensory fatigue that affects participation and engagement.
This service may include:
· Functional fatigue assessment

· Pacing, rest and workload strategies
· Timetable and task adaptation recommendations
· Guidance for staff and families to support sustainable participation
This service is particularly relevant for neurodivergent learners, those with complex needs or fluctuating energy levels.

Transition, Independence & Preparation for Adulthood
I support young people through key transitions, including preparation for adulthood and employment.
Transition Planning (EHCP & Life Skills)
This service may include:
· Functional independence assessment (ADLs and daily living skills)
· Consideration of sensory processing, posture, fatigue and vision
· Learner-centred goal setting
· Clear transition planning aligned with EHCP outcomes
· Attendance at transition or review meetings
Preparation for Work & Vocational Readiness
I assess functional readiness for work and support young people to develop the skills and strategies needed for vocational environments.
This service may include:
· Functional assessment of work-related skills
· Analysis of sensory, physical and fatigue demands within work environments
· Postural and endurance considerations
· Reasonable adjustment recommendations
· Support with routines, independence and role expectations
This service supports learners moving into supported internships, college-to-work pathways or employment. Supporting learners who experience physical, cognitive or sensory fatigue that affects participation and engagement.
Transition assessment & report:
Functional independence, sensory processing, posture, fatigue and vision review
Fee: £450 – £850
Meeting attendance:
EHCP / IDP or transition review
Fee: £90 – £120 per hour
Aligned with Preparing for Adulthood outcomes (England) and Additional Learning Needs (Wales) frameworks.
Preparation for work assessment & report:
Functional readiness, workplace demands, reasonable adjustments
Fee: £400 – £700
Work-focused strategy session:
Practical guidance for young person, family or staff
Fee: £90 – £120 per hour
Suitable for college-to-work pathways, supported internships and employment planning.
Training & CPD for Education and Care Settings
I deliver practical, evidence-informed training to support staff confidence and consistency.
Training topics include:
· Sensory processing in the classroom
· Supporting functional vision and CVI
· Postural support in education settings
· Fatigue management for learners
· Supporting hand function and independence
· Implementing OT recommendations effectively
· Preparation for adulthood and employment
Training can be delivered in person or online and tailored to the needs of your setting.
Half-day (in person) : £300 – £450
Full-day (in person): £500 – £900
Online CPD (1 hour) : £90 – £120 per participant
Pre-recorded training access: £30 – £60 per person

Consultancy & Service Development
I provide consultancy to support organisations in developing high-quality, consistent therapy provision.
This may include:
· Service audits and quality review
· Sensory processing and functional access pathway development
· CVI-informed environmental design
· Staff training and supervision frameworks
· MDT integration and service alignment
· Support with inspection preparation and quality improvement planning
Consultancy day rate: £400 – £800
Monthly retainer (ongoing support): £600 – £2,000
Consultancy may include:

· Staff supervision and CPD frameworks
· MDT integration and quality improvement planning
· Support with inspection, review and commissioning processes
